Aim of this Course

Interact effectively with management and other staff members in the context of a tourism or hospitality organisation

Present information in an intuitive manner.

Discuss pertinent tourism and hospitality issues with peers or other professionals.

Present the results of own research using both verbal and non verbal methods.

Use latest ICT tools to disseminate information for sales, marketing or informative purposes

Undertake independent research using online, printed and broadcasting media so as to keep abreast with latest developments in tourism and hospitality.

Reflect on own knowledge, skills and competencies through self evaluation methods and peer feedback

Assess own learning to identify areas for improvement or opportunities for further learning

Develop further own skills in identifying and critically evaluating information

Reflect critically on the implications of own decisions in order to learn from experiences and develop own decision making process

Critically evaluate the experience gained from the internship so as to embrace good practices observed that can be applied in different contexts
