This course aims to give trainees the essential education, training, and proficiency sufficient for understanding the basic engineering principles for the machinery and equipment normally found on yachts and to enable them to carry out periodical servicing and preventive maintenance of onboard machinery/equipment. The course is accredited and approved by TM. Students who wish to start working on board both in the Deck and Engine departments might be interested to do such course in order to work in position mainly as Assistant Engineer.
