This course is aimed at providing the learner with general knowledge, skills and competences of a First Aider at a place of work and also be able to provide first aid to an adult casualty in other settings. Through this training , the learner will learn how to assess the scene of an accident for hazards, take safety precautions so as not to endanger oneself or others, assess an adult casualty's injury/illness and deliver first aid until professional medical personnel are available to assist.
