Award Introductory Course for Supply Teachers

Aim of this Course

The aim is to give supply teachers the necessary knowledge, skills and competences to effectively create a positive learning environment in the classroom. By the end of the course, learners will be able to:

a) Employ assessment for learning strategies within their own teaching;
b) Support and assess learners in their learning;
c) Manage learners’ behaviour utilising effective classroom strategies;
d) Foster a secure and positive environment conducive to learning;
e) Coordinate classroom resources and space.
