JAYE Malta is recruiting a dynamic and creative Programmes Coordinator who will join its team and support its mission of inspiring young minds through entrepreneurship education.
The candidate will need to have a track record of working within the community and coordinating impactful events and activities; from the design stage to analysis and the communication of event outcomes. Working in a fast-paced and specialised sector such as education and entrepreneurship, the strategy adopted in coordinating activities will need to meet the specific objectives of the organisation's mission. The candidate will work in a small team, with clearly defined roles, and will need to contribute effectively to the organisation's developmental strategy and provide assistance to other team members. The candidate will need to be able to work on their own initiative and ensure effective coordination between JAYE Malta?s volunteer community (made up of business leaders, teachers and JAYE Malta Alumni), students and members of JAYE Malta staff, to ensure the smooth-running and development of JAYE Malta?s educational programmes. The candidate needs to be flexible to work on weekends (Saturdays) on occasions (for specific programme events); these events will be at various locations across Malta. Typical daily tasks for the Programmes Coordinator will include planning and coordinating JAYE Malta?s educational programmes. This will also involve contacting students, teachers and mentors to offer support and guidance in relation to JAYE Malta?s programmes, supervising a team of interns and researching and reviewing JAYE Malta?s educational strategy. The Coordinator will also be engaged in administrative and outreach related tasks where necessary. This contract is offered on a fixed-term basis with renewal on agreement between management and the candidate following internal performance reviews. More recently JAYE Malta has launched the Start Up Programme for tertiary education level students, offering aspiring entrepreneurs the possibility to design and pitch their very own business idea to potential investors. The experience gained in both programmes is unforgettable.
