This scheme aims to incentivise the employment of experienced mature workers, enhancing the labour market with their skills and fostering the transferability of these skills to younger employees. Employers benefit by providing employment and training to mature job seekers, helping to up-skill or re-skill these employees, thereby enriching their workforce.
Registering Unemployed for 6 continuous months or longer without interruptions.
Aged 45-65 years (or up to pensionable age)
The employer must submit the engagement form on the day employment commences, and the start date must not exceed 15 days from the last day of registration.
Training can be reimbursed upon the approval of Jobsplus if such training is carried outside the place of work or outsourced by third parties.
No other reimbursement for the same employee is being requested through another scheme for the same employment.
