The aim of this course is to increase the awareness particularly among persons employed with the private sector on how to incorporate environmental considerations into purchasing decisions, together with raising awareness on product specifications that would lead to environmental sustainability. The course aims to encourage more investment and development in green products and services. Green Public Procurement encourages the attainment of other environmental objectives such as climate change and energy efficiency.
