Malta Labour Migration Policy: Second Implementation Phase Begins Learn More

MySkills Scheme

The MySkills Scheme aims to promote a culture of lifelong learning by subsidizing the cost of training for individuals who wish to upskill or reskill. This Scheme, which is co-financed by ESF+ under the Training for Employment Project (ESF+.01.195), builds on the success of the former Training Pays Scheme. Through this initiative, learners who are not in employment may recover 100% of eligible training costs, while those in employment may recover 80% of the training cost. In both cases, individuals must successfully complete the training. All grants will be capped at €5,000 and are subject to meeting all terms and conditions of the Scheme, including the de minimis Regulation (EU 2023/2831) where applicable.
