Work Exposure Scheme

Persons of working age who are not in employment nor in full-time studies. Our work exposure program is your pathway to smoother job transitions. Gain essential skills and knowledge through on-the-job training, designed to empower jobseekers like you on their journey to gainful employment.

Scheme Benefits

  1. Earn while you learn: Receive a training allowance ranging from €5.54 to €7.50 per hour, depending on the chosen occupation, paid directly by Jobsplus. Plus, keep your existing social benefits while you train – no need to choose between support and skill-building.
  2. Explore over 150 occupations: Dive into a wide variety of roles, from technical roles to service and sales positions, tailored to match your interests and skills.
  3. Flexible Training that fits your life: Train for 10 to 14 weeks, with durations varying by occupation. Attend up to 40 hours per week and finish earlier with employer approval – your schedule, your pace.
  4. Boost your employability with a Certificate: Complete at least 70% of your training hours and earn a certificate recognised by employers, giving your CV a competitive edge.
  5. Build your professional network: Connect with employers and peers during your placement, opening doors to future job opportunities and valuable industry relationships.
  6. Personalised support when you need it: Access guidance and training tailored to your goals, with job coaches available for vulnerable trainees to ensure you thrive every step of the way.
