Aim of this Course

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of sustainable building practices, exploring the principles, technologies, and strategies that contribute to environmentally friendly and energy-efficient construction. It aims at creating more educational awareness on sustainability of buildings (both when designing new buildings and when renewing existing buildings); as well as promoting green building standards across the entire stages of a project's design and completion. Through this course, the learner will gain practical knowledge and skills to design, construct, and maintain buildings that minimise their environmental impact, follow health and safety regulations, whilst also gaining knowledge about the 'Green your Building' Scheme which aims at introducing green facades and green walls in private residential buildings.h
