Scheme Benefits

Since its inception in 2014, the Free SEC Revision Classes have been crucial in supporting over 5000 students annually, aged 15 to 29, who did not succeed in their SEC/Ordinary level exams in the core subjects: Maths, Maltese, English, Physics, or Biology.

This initiative provides a vital opportunity for students to reinforce their understanding in these subjects, improving their prospects in future educational endeavors. Taking place from late July to the end of August, the classes offer an intensive revision period, targeting students with grades 6, 7, U, or those absent in their main exams.

By creating a supportive and resource-rich environment, these classes encourage students to persevere in their educational journey, preparing them with knowledge and confidence for resit exams. The program also aims to bridge learning gaps, not only improving exam performance but also fostering a deeper appreciation of the subjects.

With classes available in four centers across Malta and Gozo, the scheme ensures flexibility and accessibility for students from various regions to benefit from this valuable resource.

Eligibility Criteria

• The scheme is open to young people between the ages of 15 and 29 

• Individuals who failed their SEC exams and are planning to sit for their SEC resit exams in September (Ordinary Level) in subjects including English, Mathematics, Maltese, Physics and Biology. 

• Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
