Responsible for installing, connecting, and maintaining fibre optic and cable networks. Duties include cable laying, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs, supporting reliable communication services within the telecommunications sector.
The individual in this position will work within a team of technicians to accomplish outside plant duties and activities. Duties laying of cable above ground and underground. No experience required , training will be provided. Fibre Optic technician s responsible for the installation, splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fibre optic networks for FTTH, FTTB, and backbone infrastructure. The role requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality installations within established timelines and safety standards.
