As a key member of the company, the Head of Operations, Training & Quality is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of all local and international training programmes.
Reporting to the COO, this role oversees operational excellence, quality assurance, instructor management, compliance, and international project delivery while supporting strategic growth and client satisfaction objectives. What we are looking for A strategic and hands-on leader who can balance operational excellence with quality assurance, inspire high-performing teams, and support the company's continued growth both locally and internationally. Main responsibilities: Lead and manage training operations, scheduling, resources, equipment, and training logistics. Oversee the successful delivery of local and international training projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and client expectations are met. Maintain and enhance quality, compliance, and accreditation standards across all training activities. Manage instructor recruitment, development, competency assessment, and performance. Support the development and review of training programmes to ensure alignment with industry standards and client requirements. Provide technical expertise to support customised client training solutions. Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, training delivery, and service excellence. Qualifications & Experience Significant experience within the fire service, emergency response, or a related industry. Proven track record of managing training operations, projects, budgets, and teams. Strong understanding of international fire and safety training standards, accreditations, and compliance requirements. Experience leading quality management and audit processes. Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills. Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and results-driven approach. Proficiency in project management and training management systems.
