A Kitchen Helper supports the daily operations of a kitchen by assisting chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, cleanliness, and organization. This role is essential in maintaining efficiency, hygiene, and smooth workflow in a fast-paced food service environment such as restaurants, hotels, cafeterias, or catering facilities. Key Responsibilities: Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and ingredients. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and work surfaces. Wash dishes, pots, and pans and ensure they are properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations. Dispose of waste and manage recycling according to guidelines. Organize and store food supplies and ingredients correctly. Assist chefs and cooks during food service as required. Ensure kitchen areas are kept clean, safe, and orderly at all times.
