The Live-In Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, tidiness and general upkeep of the household, ensuring that the home is well organised, comfortable and maintained to a high standard. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Carry out regular cleaning and tidying of the house, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas and other household spaces. Dust, vacuum, mop and clean floors, surfaces, windows and other areas as required. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and pay close attention to detail. Change bed linen, towels and other household items as required. Keep household areas organised, tidy and presentable at all times. Carry out general housekeeping duties and ensure household supplies are adequately maintained. Provide occasional house-sitting duties when the family is travelling, ensuring the property is secure and well maintained. Provide occasional pet-sitting and basic care for household pets when the family is away. Carry out basic grocery shopping and occasional errands as required. Assist with simple, home-style cooking and meal preparation when required. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and after meal preparation. Carry out light gardening duties, mainly watering plants and basic upkeep. Report any maintenance issues, repairs or household concerns to the family promptly. Handle household equipment, cleaning products and appliances safely and appropriately. Respect the privacy, routines and personal belongings of the family. Carry out any other reasonable household duties as required.
