As a Technology Consultant you will lead technology assessment and design activities to support our clients’ strategic digitalisation agendas. You will help clients to help solve their toughest strategic issues and deliver high-value, actionable recommendations from strategy through to execution. Your key responsibilities : Drawing on your skills and experience to date you will work as part of a fast-growing practice supporting the development of IT strategy, architecture and design of solutions that form part of complex IT related assignments. Advise clients on the overall technology architecture landscape on various solution architecture areas including information, data, security, and integration. Working with client counterparts in designing and implementing business capabilities that harness emerging and scaled technologies, such as Cloud, Blockchain, AI, Automation, Data and Analytics and Internet of Things (IoT). Developing solution architecture, perform architectural assessment and gap analysis and help formulate the overall solution strategy and roadmap. Analyse business processes and transformation, information systems concept, structure architecture and engineer requirements. Develop solutions based on the broad range of technology offerings in line to the client’s need and in conformance to the technology strategy and assets within the client’s IT landscape. Managing business development initiatives including preparation of proposals, project estimation, solution architecture hypothesis and definition of methods and approach. Managing projects including coordination of client communication, team resource allocation, quality management of deliverables and project schedule. What are we looking for? Technical Skills and Proficiency : Knowledge of and ability to apply cloud concepts and technologies to design, develop, implement and manage cloud computing solutions, to enhance business performance and improve technology security. Ability to gather data requirements, maintain metadata about the data, ensure security and governance for the data, store and process the data, and tune performance of the database to make data more useful and accessible. Knowledge of development and operations (DevOps) practices for software configuration, integration and deployment to various platforms and operating environments. Education background : A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field. (MQF Level 6) A master’s degree in information technology management or related field is preferred. (MQF Level 7) Experience : At least five (5) years of work experience in technology transformation or implementation-related roles Experience in leading/working on projects utilizing waterfall and Agile project methodologies Experience outside of core solution architecture in one or more of the following: Enterprise Architecture, Technical Architecture, Integration Architecture, Data Architecture, and Development Architecture Experience in software development, IT operations, and application support Skills : Strong communication, analytical, listening and problem-solving skills Foster an efficient, innovative and team-oriented work environment Able to meet tight deadlines and project timelines Able to analyse business and technical requirements enabling the design and build of scalable enterprise application architectures Accurately identify client issues and communicate clear explanations and suggested actions to the project team Experience and certification in Microsoft technology portfolio including Azure, Dynamics, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and Azure development will be considered an asset
