As a full stack developer in our growing development team, you will be part of building and evolving the SkyCity casino web app and its supporting CMS.
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Full-Stack Developer to take a leading role in building and evolving our digital products. In this position, you will own the full development lifecycle — shaping intuitive user interfaces, designing robust server-side logic, and ensuring seamless integration across internal and ex-ternal APIs. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable, high-performing solutions that support our growth. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-moving online environment, brings strong architectural thinking, and is comfortable making technical decisions that influence the direction of our platform. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of code quality, driving best practices, and mentoring other developers to elevate the overall engineering culture. As a senior member of the team, you will help define our technical roadmap, contribute to long-term plat-form strategy, and ensure that our systems remain secure, reliable, and adaptable. You’ll play a key part in optimizing performance across the stack, improving development workflows, and ensuring our applications deliver a smooth, consistent experience for users. Qualifications & Experiences · Front End Html, JS, CSS and framework as React · Back End Node.js, java · React, Next.js (App Router) · TypeScript, - writing clen, maintainable Typescript for both Backend and Frontend · Database SQL and NoSQL · Infrastructure Version control (Git) · API design · Cloud services (AWS) – utilising tools like CloudWatch, design and implement backend solutions · Develop and operate containerized applications using Docker and AWS ECS, · integrating with services such as RDS (PostgreSQL), SQS, EventBridge, Cognito, S3, and CloudFront. · Experience building or maintaining CMS platforms or content-heavy applications. · Being able to operate in an Agile environment · Be a true advocate for code reviews and technical mentorship · Excellent documentation skills · Postgres SQL and understanding of data consistency, performance and data migrations · Best practices around Authentication, Authorisation and security · Understanding of modern frontend architecture using React and Next.js including SSR, SSG, and ISR. · Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, agile teams and taking ownership of complex problems Desirable: · Cloud services (Azure) · Hands-on experience with AWS ECS, ECR, Load Balancers, VPCs, Secrets Manager, SES, or similar services. · Experience improving observability, logging, and alerting in production systems. · Knowledge Tailwind CSS, and scalable frontend structures such as Feature-Sliced Design. · Interest in improving CI/CD, developer experience, and platform reliability over time.
