Fabricate, cut, shape and assemble structural steel components according to technical drawings. Perform fitting, installation and adjustments, ensuring safe and accurate work on construction sites. Previous experience is preferred.

• Competencies

  • Register production and quality monitoring data (malfunctions, interventions...)
  • Assemble support structures (scaffold, braces, platform...)
  • Work with materials: stainless steel
  • Do welding work following process: autogenous gas welding
  • Check dimensions, shapes, welds; perform finishings/ adjustments/alterations in case of alignment/deformation mistakes
  • Determine assembly process and necessary materials based on instructions, technical files...
  • Place and mark structural elements, weld and assembly spot
  • Set cutting and forming tools and cut or shape elements (profiles, pipes, panels...)
  • Take down measurements and dimensions on materials and perform necessary outlines
  • Set up, place and do final assembly of structure on site (truss, bedplate...)
  • Assemble and fasten structural elements according to assembly plans and directions
  • Prepare or assemble items: heavy support structures
