Performs general yard duties including loading, unloading, and moving materials. Maintains cleanliness, assists with basic maintenance, operates simple equipment, and follows safety procedures to support smooth site and storage operations.
•Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers using hand tools, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified). •Move, stack, and stage materials (lumber, pallets, containers, equipment) safely and neatly. •Sweep, clean, and maintain yard, loading bays, walkways, and storage areas. •Assist with inventory counts and basic recordkeeping (e.g., tag, label, log incoming/outgoing material). •Operate basic power tools and equipment (pressure washer, hand truck, pallet jack); operate heavy equipment. •Secure loads with straps, chains, or shrink-wrap as directed.
