The Laundry Driver is responsible for the timely collection and delivery of laundry between customer locations, hotels, and the laundry facility.
Key Responsibilities Collect soiled linen, uniforms, and laundry from customer premises according to the scheduled route. Deliver clean laundry to customers in a timely and professional manner. Load and unload laundry bags, carts, and other items safely. Check delivery notes and ensure the correct quantities are collected and delivered. Obtain customer signatures for deliveries and collections when required. Report any discrepancies, damaged items, or customer concerns to the supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company vehicle. Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance requirements. Follow all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company procedures. Assist with general laundry operations when required. Requirements Valid driving licence appropriate for the company vehicle. Good knowledge of local roads and routes. Ability to lift and carry heavy laundry bags and carts. Good communication and customer service skills. Reliable, punctual, and well-organised. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous driving or delivery experience is an advantage
