Sound Technician for live events across Malta and Gozo
Looking for a Sound Technician to join our team ahead of a busy season. We deliver DJ services, live musicians, sound, lighting, staging and special effects for weddings, corporate events and private parties across Malta and Gozo. Our events range from intimate receptions to productions of 500 guests and above. The role: You will run the technical side of our events on site, from load-in through to strike, and look after our equipment between bookings. Most events are handled solo or in a small crew, so you will be trusted to make decisions on the floor. Duties include setting up and operating PA, monitors, wireless microphones and lighting at venues across the islands; mixing live sound for DJs, saxophonists, vocalists and bands; working directly with clients, planners and venue teams; maintaining, testing and preparing equipment at our Mgarr base; and loading, driving and dismantling. Requirements: at least two years of hands-on experience in live event audio; confident on digital consoles and comfortable troubleshooting under pressure; calm and professional with clients, particularly at weddings; available to work weekends and evenings through the season; a clean driving licence; eligible to work in Malta. Experience with lighting, rigging or equipment maintenance is a strong advantage.
