We are seeking a skilled and competent Body Repair Technician to repair, restore and refinish vehicle bodywork, frame and structural components damaged by collision, accident or adverse weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities: - Inspect vehicle damage and prepare repair cost estimates. - Straighten vehicle frames and chassis using hydraulic equipment and computerised measuring tools. - Repair or replace damaged body panels, including doors, fenders, bonnets and bumpers. - Sand, prime, paint and refinish vehicle surfaces, ensuring accurate colour matching and a high-quality finish. - Reassemble body panels, trim and glass, and inspect completed repairs to ensure vehicle alignment, quality and safety. - Calibrate or replace vehicle sensors, cameras and other safety systems, including deployed airbags, where required. - Ensure all repair work is completed in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
