We are seeking a Truck Driver to transport goods, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will ensure timely deliveries while complying with traffic laws, company procedures, and road safety regulations.
Operates commercial or heavy goods vehicles to transport raw materials, equipment, or finished goods safely and on schedule between locations. Core Responsibilities • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety checks on brakes, tires, lights, fluid levels, and cargo security. • Cargo Transport: Drive semi-trucks, box trucks, or heavy vehicles along planned routes while obeying traffic laws and weight limits. • Loading and Unloading: Supervise or assist with loading, securing, and unloading freight using equipment like pallet jacks or lifts. • Documentation: Maintain accurate driver logs (hours of service), delivery receipts, fuel records, and digital tracking updates. • Maintenance & Reporting: Perform basic preventative maintenance and report mechanical defects or accidents immediately. • Communication: Coordinate schedules with dispatchers and provide professional customer service at dropoff sites
