Responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, machinery and equipment. Carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure all installations comply with safety standards.

We are seeking a reliable Electrical Technician to join our team. The main duties include:- • Maintenance on plant equipment and production machines • Monitor and optimize machines during production • Keep machine running with minimum downtime • Oversee production machines efficiency • Being able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision • Technically competent persons within the required are of expertise • Experience in packaging machines or similar work will be considered an asset

  • Activate electrical installation and perform inspections
  • Assemble parts of electrical or electronic product (components, wiring)
  • Check functioning of mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Connect wires of industrial electrical equipment to machines, light points or sockets
  • Determine conditions/modalities for interventions on electrical installations/equipment and prepare tools
  • Process components or replacement parts
  • Determine which repairs in the electrical installation or equipment are needed and trace malfunctioning parts
  • Identify defective or broken-down parts and repair or replace them
  • Localise failure or defect by checks, tests and measurements
  • Perform preparatory tests for the operation of electrical installation or equipment
  • Register follow-up data for interventions and transfer info to relevant service/department
  • Inquire about circumstances of failure and make first diagnosis
  • Analyse readings (values). Make diagnosis of malfunction cause. Make adaptations in order to improve product conformity
  • Carry out technical work: wire electrical boxes (relay, operating relay...)
  • Perform technical work: install electrical equipment
  • Carry out technical work: Install electrical equipment
  • Write instructions for usage or maintenance
  • Keep follow-up system for supplies (use of loose parts...)
