Bridging the Gap Scheme

The Bridging the Gap Scheme provides individuals the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience and transition smoothly from unemployment to employment. Through a structured work exposure period, both job seekers and employers can assess the potential for a successful, long-term working relationship.

Scheme Benefits

This initiative supports disadvantaged job seekers, including individuals with disabilities, by providing real-world workplace experience and assisting them in their transition to employment. It allows job seekers to assess job suitability, while employers gain insight into the candidates’ abilities before hiring. With the support of Jobsplus and the Lino Spiteri Foundation, both parties can ensure the role aligns with the individual’s needs and the employer’s expectations, fostering positive employment outcomes.
