In this role, you will work closely with our team of skilled chefs to prepare and present high-quality dishes that consistently meet our Michelin standards.
• Assists in the preparation of ingredients and mise end place for daily service, ensuring all items are of the highest quality and freshness. • Execute culinary techniques to cook and finish dishes as per the recipes and standards set by the Head Chef. • Contributes to the artistic presentation of dishes, paying attention to detail and maintaining consistency in plating. • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following strict sanitation and safety guidelines to ensure food safety and hygiene. • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and efficient communication during peak hours. • Continuously seek to expand culinary knowledge and skills through training and mentorship from senior chefs. • Assist in quality control measures to ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet our Michelin standards. • Assist in the monitoring of inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to ensure timely stock rotation and restocking. • Assists in measures to reduce waste and minimise costs wherever possible, while maintaining high standards of food quality and service. • Carries out other job-related duties as required.
