The Maintenance and Facilities Manager ensures plant efficiency by overseeing infrastructure, layout & machinery. Leads TPM strategies, manages breakdowns across mechanical, electrical & robotic systems, & handles team leadership, contractors & budgets.
Main Duties: - Lead the Maintenance & Facilities department, organize the daily tasks and drive the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctions. - Increase the site operational effectiveness, manage, and implement improvement plans, driving maintenance KPI's (MTTR, MTBF, OEE, TEEP). Report monthly achievements. - Develop, deploy, and maintain efficient autonomous maintenance procedures for operators (maintenance level 1). - Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximizing planned downtime and reducing unplanned downtime. - Ensure that designated facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required. - Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of plant automation initiatives, ensuring alignment with operational goals, budget constraints, and safety standards - Ensure that HSEE requirements are adhered to (equipment and team). Additional Duties: - Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems. - Support MES (Coox) and ERP (Silver) implementation and utilization for maintenance. - Embrace the Industry 4.0/Automation according to the HES standards. Key Responsibilities: - Input and hold responsibility for maintenance budgets. Prepare annual reporting. - Ensure spare parts store is kept organized, inventory and stock level updated at all times. - Ensure cost and feasibilities of the projects lead by the department. - Support the cross-fertilization of the different departments to improve the system.
