Provide hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, highlights, lowlights and balayage. Perform straight and curled blowdries, keratin treatments, handle cashing, and ensure the salon and work area are kept clean and hygienic at all times.

  • Determine desired hair style (cut, colour, treatment...). Advise customer (features, implanting of hairs...)
  • Elaborate instructions and procedures to create hairstyle or make-up (technical sheets, sketches, drawings, pictures...)
  • Figure out hairdressing and make-up staff required for performance, shooting...; build one or more teams
  • Give hair shape or volume (curling, blow-drying,...), comb up, set or add sheen (hair spray, gel...)
  • Make a hair diagnosis, prepare the wash and wash hair
  • Manage stock; record shortages; place orders
  • Match or make distinct hair styles or make-up between two shootings or scenes
  • Perform traditional hairdresser activities (cutting, dyeing, brushing, perming)
  • Prepare and apply colouring and decolouring products
  • Prepare hairpieces (wigs, whiskers, moustaches...)
  • Promote and sell treatments, care and products to customers
  • Receive payments. Keep customer files
  • Show hair style to customers from different angles and ask for their opinion
  • Suggest treatments, hair products and accessories to customer; give advice
  • Take care of artists' hair style according to scenery or scene
  • Train employees and make them aware of techniques, requirements, practices (hair style, hygiene, safety...)
  • Try out hair styles or make up on artists
  • Welcome and settle customer in
