Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Adhere to the Service steps & Other SOP’s, laid out in training. Be an ambassador on the team for following the standards & working with Head Waiters & Waiter to foster improvement.
Provide attentive and personalized service to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders from guests, following dietary requirements & allergen procedure. Following timing structure for Drinks & Dishes, reporting any delays to the management. Assist colleagues during busy times, providing help where needed. Make suggestions to enhance guests' dining experience, including recommending specials and upselling additional menu items. Ensure that the dining area is always kept clean and orderly. Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Restaurant Manager. When working a private event, liaise directly with the Senior team member to ensure communication is high. Open and close the business, ensuring all procedures are followed and being the last to leave in the evening. Communicate any guest complaints to the manager and recommend appropriate actions. Conduct training sessions on Service Standards to ensure the team delivers consistent, high-quality service. Mentor and support the waiter team, helping them develop their skills and achieve excellence in their roles. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and securely, following company procedures. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and hygiene practices. Continuously improve knowledge of food and beverage offerings, staying updated with industry trends and training. Commit to completion of Online training within 2 weeks of Start date.
