As a result of continued business growth, Jatco Insurance Managers PCC Limited is seeking a highly experienced Management Accountant to join our team.
The role entails: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Prepare monthly ageing reports for accounts payable and receivable. Analyse financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and cost saving opportunities. Ensure all finance-related tasks are completed within established deadlines and in line with internal policies and procedures. Ensure full regulatory compliance for all accounting tasks, including timely reporting and audit readiness. Manage month end and year end closing processes efficiently and accurately. Achieve assigned KPIs. Prepare management accounts. Lead the preparation of the annual budget for presentation to the Board of Directors. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis. Assist in preparing and filing VAT, tax, statistical returns, and surveys, ensuring adherence to all applicable standards. Perform comprehensive credit risk assessments for clients, customers, and vendors. Provide required documentation and support for internal and external audits. Promote continuous improvement processes across all Company functions. Liaise with both local and foreign clients and respective insurance markets. Coordinate closely with the Finance Department of Jatco Core. Perform additional accounting duties as required by Company needs.
