We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our team.
Food Preparation: Assist with the preparation of food items as per the menu, ensuring all ingredients are prepared according to recipes and standards. Cooking: Help cook and assemble dishes under the guidance of senior kitchen staff. Stock Management: Ensure that ingredients are used efficiently, minimizing waste. Assist with stock rotation and maintaining cleanliness of ingredients. Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring food safety regulations are followed at all times. Assisting with Service: Help in plating dishes and preparing orders during busy service periods. Learning and Development: Actively engage in learning new cooking techniques and kitchen operations from senior chefs. Equipment Maintenance: Use kitchen equipment properly, ensuring it is maintained and kept clean. Health & Safety: Follow all safety protocols regarding food handling, knife safety, and general kitchen safety.
