we are looking to recruit full time enthusiastic food and beverage server to oversee, enhance, and ensure a pleasant dining experience for our guests.
The food server will maintain a positive and respectful relationship with team members, engage with guests in a professional manner. You will perform opening duties to prepare for service and closing duties at the end of your shift. Responsibilities: • Perform opening duties such as setting tables, polishing glasses, folding napkins, and replenishing condiments. • Attend pre-shift and general meetings to update knowledge of special offers and stock-related issues, and to discuss service and product matters. • Assist management and hosts to meet, greet, and seat guests, and issuing them food and wine menus. • Ensuring accuracy when entering orders into the systems. • Following up on food and beverage orders with the back of house (BOH). • Proactively checking on guests to establish satisfaction with the product and overall experience, and providing management with feedback. • Issuing guests with their check on request, and greeting and thanking them sincerely on departure. • Performing closing duties such as sweeping and vacuuming, and preparing linens for collection by laundry service. • The duties and responsibilities described in this job description are not a comprehensive list, and as such additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time. Requirements: • Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset • Food Handling Certificate • Excellent English both written and verbally, any other language ability will be an advantage • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill with understanding of customer service skills • Well-groomed, professional appearance. • Available to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
