This course is aimed at providing the learner with general knowledge, skills and competences required to work as an electrician's assistant. Through this training programme, the learner will be able to take responsibility for one's own safety and ensure not to expose others to hazards at the workplace, undertake electrical calculations, communicate using electrical terminology, understand electrical theory, be knowledgeable about accessories, components and tools and able to find electrical faults, and collaborate on electrical installations, alterations, extensions and repairs under the supervision of a licensed electrician/engineer whilst complying with statutory and non-statutory regulations applicable to electrical installations. ü
